OK..I admit I am a farming noob, but how do you ever kill a monk beetle thingy? I get in place to where I am hitting it and the termites and all the termites die and the monk remains then we are at a stalemate. Can anyone take me on a run with them so I can watch or something cause I can't figure it out (granted I only just got the build made and tried it for about an hour with same result, killed everything but monks)

I on in the evening starting around 6pm EST until 11pm
Trick is to only attach the monk until it is dead let the others beat on you .
if you happen to die more the better it drops your health to 58 and you can withstand more damage.

I'm having macho problems with this build.
I'm farming in The Floodplain of Mahnkelon, BTW.
Anyways, I find myself spontaneously dying with all my enchants up. It takes me like 10 minutes to kill a group of Heket, so I run up to a group of 3 Beast Sword Heket and die in like 5 seconds, with every enchant on me. I can't even get to the bosses!
So, I tried farming in Marga Coast. I make it past the first groups of insects, and, after 30 mins of 130'ing my way through, I make it to Admiral Chiggen. Okay, some more Skale pop up, no biggie, I can take em. Admiral Chiggen's group comes over too...All enchants up, BAM I'm dead.
Finally, I often find myself without energy by the time Mystic Regen and Prot Spirit are recharged and need recasting. I'm using Radiant Insignias.
Please help?

Sounds like lifestealing damage to me? Any vamp/lifestealing damage ignores Protective Spirit.
Either that or something is removing your enchants. Otherwise there's no logical explanation for this behavior.
Watch your screen and see what's going on. Are you hexed? What kind of damage are you taking, and from what skills?
Have you checked www.guildwiki.org to see what skills the monsters you are fighting are using?
Knowing your enemy is 99.9% key to efficient farming!

no, if you take 11 hits simultaneously, you would die. prot spirit forces rounding. thats why every good spike has at least 11 packets.

I just made a 130 dervish but i didn't notice that i needed 2 skills from prophecies. I think they are essence bond and Balthazar's spirit. One of them is not required because it just aids other party members but essence bond i need to keep energy high. Anyone have suggestions on what i can put in place of those 2 skills?
I am thinking of faithful intervention and another protection spell but none help with my energy problem.

firstly both are needed for energy and none help team mates becoz as a SOLO farmer u have no team mate! u really need alot of energy fo rthis build and the skills from prophecies are the best for e-management.

Not sure if it's just me, but I can't seem to take any monk mobs. The dmg output just doesn't seem to be constant enough. Using the 3 attack skills I have will bring most to half or a little less, but then they just heal and are back near full before the skills are recharged.
Might be because I have to recast my enchantments sooner because I don't have a 20% enchant mod yet... but I wouldn't think that would cause this much of a problem, would it?

I try to isolate the monk mob so that the other mobs keep hitting me and maxing my energy while I spam my attacks on the monk.

tip to take monks out, when they are below health, use reaper's sweep, then the other two, then do the other 2 when recharged, then do the first combo again it will work, I can take on light of the blind with ease

Build is cool.
However i've got problems with coming to bosses - fe. moving to Jerneh Nightbringercan be really pain in the arse. Same in situation is in many other areas - Terob Roundback.

From crossroads, exit north. When you reach a bisection, head left, go through the heket, and just keep running in the direction of the shrine. Die along the way, after the shrine is activated. Now you'll respawn at that shrine with 58 life. Recast enchants, spawn nightbringer and kill him.

Okay now this is getting kind of annoying lol, I use this build and its great, but if I get even 4 enemies on me I will be dead, and the problem with this run is all the bosses I run into ALWAYs has like 4-5 guys around it, and pulling just pulls everyone >.>

I'm having trouble killing the death bringer. Every time i try the mesmers or something around me removes my enchants. Any suggestions?
